Precautions &

Health & Safety Practices 

We would like to take a moment to share with you some of the new safety measures that Studio B Dance Center​ has taken.  We will continue to follow the More Than Just Great Dancing!® Safer Studio™ guidelines for operations and the Youth Protection Advocates in Dance® Studio Sanitation guidelines for cleaning as we begin to open.

SAFER STUDIO

Studio B is a Safer Studio!
At Studio B Dance Center, the health and safety of our staff, students, and families have always been our highest priority! That is why we have chosen to become certified as a “Safer Studio” following the guidelines provided by
More than Just Great Dancing. ·

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, MTJGD™ recommends all members use a phased approach to reopening physical services, based on the latest government guidance, as well as regional and local orders. MTJGD™ recommends all members develop and clearly communicate a “Safer Studio Plan” to address any operational changes, precautionary measures, and policy adjustments being made to facilitate the safest possible return to in-person services.

Studio B is open for Classes! Of course, we will be following Safer Studio/CDC guidelines as well as practicing social distancing. We are so excited to be back in the studio! And if you're not quite ready for in-person classes online lessons will still be offered!

Our "Safer Studio" Plan

Studio B Dance Center will be slowly reopening its doors in phases.
We will be introducing a stoplight system here at Studio B. This will allow studio b to update families about changes in our daily operations. The studio has been open in a limited capacity since July 6th. First, we opened for Camp and then in the September fall classes began. We feel more prepared than ever to have our dancers back and turn our light Green.

The facility is closed.

All classes taught by teachers virtually via Zoom. 

All questions should be sent over via email for the most prompt response!

Main lobby & upstairs Lobby area are closed.

Drop off at the front door of the studio for all Camp & Classes. 

Classes operating on a hybrid of  In-studio & Virtual lessons.

We will be disinfecting and enforcing hand hygiene between classes.

There will be added daily cleaning and we will be practicing social distancing with marked spots in studio rooms.

Reduced camp & class capacities.

No shared props that cannot be easily disinfected after each use.

Additional measures may be taken as listed in our Health & Safety Plan & Operations Playbook.

COVID CLEANING

Studio B Dance Center has gone through BioClean's disinfection and decontamination process.  Bio Clean uses a certified process that Kills Super bugs,  and has continuous antibacterial protection that lasts for up to 3 months. They use specialized solutions that have been created specifically for healthcare, education, and commercial clients.  Their processes are nontoxic and leave no harmful residue. 

Spot Cleaning &

Whole Studio Disinfection 

We will be spot cleaning the areas of the studio where surface contact occurs frequently with hospital grade disinfectant. Not only will teachers & office staff be cleaning during the day but our cleaning service will be coming more often.
This fall we have a number of new protocols in place to ensure the safest environment for your dancer!  
When dancers arrive a studio staff member will have them wash their hands. During our classes, we will be enforcing social distancing and hand sanitizing!

Class Precautions

Clean hands will never be out of reach with our new Sanitizing stations on each floor and hand sanitizer access in all 3 dance studios!

PPE & Staff Protocol

Our staff will be wearing masks while in the Studio and on the grounds at Studio B Dance Center. All dancers, siblings, caretakers, and parents are required to wear masks. 
  
Dancers will be following social distancing guidelines and we will be disinfecting periodically throughout the day.
